Media & Communications Disputes Senior Associate

We are looking for an experienced associate with 5+ PQE to join our top-ranked Media & Communications Disputes team.

Our Media & Communications Dispute team has been consistently recognised as Band 1 and Top Tier in both Legal500 and Chambers & Partners.

This is a full-time role, based in London (hybrid office/work from home). While the focus of this role will be media litigation, most of our lawyers are also engaged in commercial litigation cases. You will manage your own cases, as well as support the partners in the wider team.

Our major clients are newspapers, broadcasters, book and online publishers, film and production companies, streaming and social media platforms, and media insurance companies.

We are looking for someone with experience in:

• media law: defamation, privacy, data protection, contempt, IP, etc. We are defendant focused but will consider applicants whose main experience is on the claimant side
• clearance/pre-pub issues, as well as conducting litigation of media cases
• non-media litigation, including commercial, insolvency and corporate disputes. This is preferable, but is not essential

You will need to have excellent client communication skills and be happy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
