This year’s prestigious Lawyer Awards saw SMB’s Crime and Regulatory department recognised as a finalist in the Conduct, Enforcement or Business Crime Team of the Year category, announced yesterday evening.
Headed by partner Phil Smith and supported by senior associate Henrietta Ronson and founding partner Anthony Burton the team enjoyed a busy year dealing cross-jurisdictionally with the US Department of Justice, FBI and IRS and receiving instructions on separate matters from partners in 3 international city firms and respected figures in the worlds of high finance and private wealth.
This great achievement marks the second year running in which an SMB client has won this prestigious award, with client Curious Films winning it last year.
