Earlier today SMB welcomed Alexander Brown, Director of The Soup Kitchen London, who delivered an impactful talk about the charity’s vital work, and how it can best be supported by SMB.
Mr Brown gave an oversight of how the charity provides healthy meals, clothing, companionship and mental health assistance to over 200 service users per day.
The talk comes after Senior Associate John Harrington and Trainee Theo Harding spent a morning serving guests at The Soup Kitchen.
Speaking on the talk, Chair of SMB’s CSR committee, John Harrington, said: “It was great to have Alex come in and speak about the Soup Kitchen as well as his experiences working with the charity.”
“Everyone who attended found Alex’s talk incredibly insightful and we already have some great fundraising ideas to supplement our volunteering.”
