In this edition:

• The EAT hold that legal advice privilege was lost where the advice consisted of using a genuine redundancy exercise to cloak the dismissal of an employee who was complaining about disability related treatment.
• A report published by the Women and Equalities Committee finds that sexual harassment at work is widespread and commonplace but there has been a failure to tackle unlawful behaviours.
• 100% of UK employers identified as being in the scope of gender pay gap regulations have now published their data which shows that 3 out of 4 companies pay their male staff more on average than their female staff.
• Figures obtained from HM Revenue and Customs show that the number of new fathers taking paternity leave fell for the first time in five years last year.
