On October 5th, SMB’s Maninder Gill spoke at the UK’s largest medical aesthetics event, the Clinical, Cosmetic and Reconstructive (CCR) Expo at Olympia London, giving a talk entitled ‘Practical Tips to Protect Your Professional Reputation’ to professionals who work in the field as surgeons, consultants and providers of medical services. Maninder is a Brand Management expert and advises many blue chip companies and celebrities on brand and reputation management strategies and effective measures to safeguard their reputations.
Maninder says:
“I drew upon the cases I have dealt with in my 25 years of experience to highlight how attacks on professional reputations can take many forms, not just the ‘traditional’ libels by the press and other identifiable defendants, but also insidious anonymous social media posts and malicious ‘fake’ reviews that are far more challenging to deal with.
Unfortunately all successful professionals need to be vigilant in this age of the anonymous keyboard warrior and have in place an effective reputation protection strategy to deal with such attacks. It’s more important than ever to be vigilant as news has never moved more quickly.”
