In support of Black History Month, Partner Razwana Akram, Joint Head of the Film & TV Team, and Associate Rachelle Senghor from the Music Team headed out today to the 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair at Somerset House.
1-54, indicative of Africa, the 1 continent and the 54 countries that make it so unique, will be presenting work from 48 galleries from across Europe, Africa and North America. Among the exhibitors this year are 20 galleries from Africa. Alongside the showcase of exciting, emerging and established artists, 1-54 has an extensive programme of artist talks, panels, screenings, performances and readings.
The 1-54 African Art Fair will be at Somerset House from today until 17th October 2021.
