Simons Muirhead Burton is pleased to have acted for founders of employee benefits specialists Drewberry Limited on their sale to global insurance leader Brown & Brown.
Founded in 2009, London-based firm Drewberry offers employee benefits solutions, consumer and business protection, private medical insurance services and workplace pension support.
Following the acquisition, Drewberry will operate as a part of Premier Choice Group (PCG), Brown & Brown’s health, employee benefit and protection division.
The SMB team who worked on the deal was composed of David Martin, Michelle Rule, Ewan Keen, Amy Pertwee and Jonathan Hunter
Speaking on the deal, David Martin, Partner in SMB’s Corporate team, said:

Partners and joint heads of the Music Department, Richard Baskind and Alasdair George, were featured, alongside Anthony Orum, who was promoted to partner in May last year.
