SMB are pleased to announce that we are now CALM accredited. Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is a charity dedicated to the prevention of suicide which is the UK’s biggest killer of men aged 18-45. This accreditation means there are now designated, trained Mental Health First-Aiders (MHFAs) in the firm who staff can speak to, in confidence if they are experiencing mental health issues. In addition, there is a helpline, online portal and web-chat service provided by CALM which is accessible by SMB staff.
Mental health and wellbeing is of paramount importance to SMB. We take the care of our team very seriously. Razi Mireskandari, SMB Managing Partner, has said:
“Our staff are our greatest asset. Like any successful company, we thrive because we care about them. Joining CALM takes us one step closer to ensuring our people have all the support they need to live, work and succeed.”
