SMB provide services in defence of legal transparency
As reported in The Guardian yesterday, SMB supported journalist Louise Tickle in challenging a reporting restriction order (RRO) by providing pro-bono legal support.
RROs are issued to prohibit certain court cases – usually relating to family matters – in the press.
Here, Louise explains the risks to the judicial system, which relies on transparency to ensure fair outcomes.
