SMB’s Film team advise on release of the new film Mr Burton

SMB’s Film and TV department have advised Principal Film Finance and Moo Studios Inc on their involvement as financiers of the new Mr Burton film.   The film is being released in UK cinemas this week by Kaleidoscope / Icon Film Distribution, who are also a client.

The biographical drama depicts the early life of the iconic Welsh actor Richard Burton and his adoption by his inspirational English/drama teacher Mr Burton.  The film features Harry Lawtey, Toby Jones and Lesley Manville.

Team was composed of Partner James Greenslade, Senior Associate Blaise Gaymer and Trainee Kane Nosworthy.
