Antony is a Partner in the Commercial Dispute Resolution team and joined SMB in June 2019. Prior to joining SMB, Antony spent 12 years as a senior commercial litigation partner at a mid-tier West end commercial firm where he built his practice and reputation in the sector.
His core specialism is commercial litigation and property related litigation. He has over 20 years’ experience representing a variety corporate clients, entrepreneurs, real estate investors, developers, property funds, private offices and numerous commercial businesses in the retail, leisure, manufacturing, travel and professional services industries.
Antony provides advice on contractual disputes, debt recovery claims, domestic and worldwide injunctions, shareholder and director claims and related insolvency matters. He advises on specialist aspects of real estate disputes and other areas including Probate, Health and Safety, Regulatory and Planning prosecutions and Directors Disqualification Proceedings. He helps clients to develop a clear strategy at an early stage of the litigation process and works with leading Counsel, experts and other professionals to provide clients with a full and seamless service from start to finish.
Antony routinely litigates in the High Court Queen’s Bench Division and in the Business and Property Courts as well as across the country in the County Court and other Tribunals. He has extensive experience of resolving disputes through mediation and other forms of ADR.
