Ben is an associate in the Technology, Media and Commercial teams.
His work is focused on drafting and negotiating consumer-facing agreements for those procuring and delivering technology or digital services. Ben also has significant experience advising on a range of data protection matters including compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. In addition, Ben has substantial experience advising clients who are under regulatory investigation by the Competition & Markets Authority for not disclosing paid-for endorsements in their social media posts.
Prior to joining the firm, Ben trained at an international law firm where he assisted on several high-profile cases against global banks, technology companies and airfreight service providers for the recovery of losses incurred by his clients in connection with breaches of competition and regulatory laws.
