Caitlin Harris is a litigator who works closely with businesses, media organisations and individuals to resolve disputes and protect their interests when it matters most. Whether advising on complex reputation management issues, media law disputes or commercial disputes, she provides pragmatic, strategic advice tailored to each client’s objectives.

Caitlin has a broad disputes practice and advises clients on a wide range of matters, including contractual disputes, defamation, privacy, data protection and reputation management issues. She acts for both claimants and defendants and has experience representing clients at every level of the court system, from the High Court to the Supreme Court.

She advises broadcasters, publishers, digital platforms and private individuals on pre-publication, pre-action and contentious matters, helping clients navigate issues involving significant commercial, reputational and personal considerations. Caitlin works closely with clients to develop practical solutions and clear strategies, particularly where matters are fast-moving, confidential or high-profile.

Alongside her media practice, Caitlin has considerable experience in commercial litigation, with a particular focus on shareholder disputes and cross-border matters involving international law.

Caitlin graduated from the University of Cambridge with a First Class degree in English Literature before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and a Masters in Legal Practice.
