Carl is a Consultant in the Employment team. He has a wide range of experience acting on behalf of large global brands, medium-sized employers and senior executives.
He has successfully acted as the principal solicitor on behalf of over 80 clients in a class action, and he has been instructed to act on behalf of over 400 clients in a group claim. He has experience advising clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters including injunctive relief in the High Court, TUPE (its application, avoidance and related information and consultation obligations), disciplinary and grievance matters, dismissals, discrimination law and whistleblowing.
Carl delivers classroom-based and bespoke training on a range of topics including unfair dismissal, anti-discrimination law, Agency Workers Regulations, anti-bullying and harassment and he has delivered a three-day intensive employment law course on several occasions. His clients highlight his highly tailored legal advice, tactical considerations and partnership approach. Carl is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
