Christopher Brown

Chris joined the SMB senior management team in November 2022 as Chief Operating Officer.  He oversees all key administrative areas, with the aim of optimising operational integration and efficiency across the firm and contributing to the firm’s future strategy.

Chris is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) with a keen interest in IT and more than 20 years of experience in law firm management.  He trained with a major accountancy practice and also spent several years working in the Lloyds of London insurance market before moving into the legal sector.  He is a member of the Solicitors’ Financial Management Group.
