Eleanna Amias

Eleanna conducts legal research across departments. They have worked on various matters spanning legal jurisdictions including media law, human rights, data protection and intellectual property.

They acquired a master’s degree in scriptwriting in 2024, providing a knowledgebase which has proved indispensable for providing practical guidance to fee-earners advising film and TV clients. They have been consulted on a variety of complex cases, often conducting in-depth legal reads on scripts and other literary material to identify violations of intellectual property and assist in dispute resolution.

Eleanna originally comes from a philosophy background. Prior to joining the firm in May 2025, Eleanna worked as a freelance writer and researcher. They have experience working for human rights non-governmental organisations, historical archives, and across the film, television, and theatre industry. Alongside their role as a paralegal, Eleanna currently works as a film writer and musician.
