Howard is a Strategic Consultant at the firm, bringing over 35 years’ experience in the legal sector following on from a decade long career in business. Throughout his legal career, he has worked primarily as an employment lawyer. He started employment teams in his two previous practices where he served as Partner.
Alongside his continuing passion for employment law Howard has used the substantial business and organisational experience and acumen which he has acquired to develop relationships that create and drive business opportunities . In doing so he focusses on working collaboratively across teams and fee earners in all sectors. This makes him ideally qualified to assist the firm in its strategic growth and business plan.
He is also passionate about working with younger and next generation colleagues to help them develop their business development opportunities and potential.
Howard believes strongly in the importance of international work to law firms. He led his previous firm’s international group which included creating and co-ordinating its overall strategy and holding senior roles in international networks. Over the course of the last 25 years he has built a substantial network creating and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with international law firms and other contacts.
