Paul Glassberg

Paul is a Partner in the Corporate, Commercial and Finance department. He is a commercially focussed specialist in Mergers & Acquisitions (including accelerated and distressed M&A transactions) as well as private equity and corporate real estate deals, joint ventures and general corporate advisory matters and regularly works with colleagues across our real estate, IP/tech and employment teams.

His client base spans a wide range of sectors, including real estate, energy, retail, restaurant and tech/fintech sectors. Paul has acted for many successful entrepreneurs as they have moved through their build up and exit stages and also for many corporates and investors and so is well-placed to advise on the discussions and issues that arise during such transactions.

Joining the firm in August 2026, Paul brings extensive experience gained after qualifying and working at a large City law firm, before moving on to other well-respected City and West End firms and ultimately joining SMB.

His expertise has been recognised externally, with Paul being listed as a Key Lawyer for Corporate and Commercial: M&A, Smaller Deals (£10m-£100m) in The Legal 500 2023. He was also the recipient of Finance Monthly magazine’s “Deal Maker of the Year Award” for 2022 and serves as a contributing editor of the Corporate Real Estate section of LexisPSL precedents.
