Vicky Edwards

Vicky is a Senior Associate in the Media & Communications Disputes team.  She advises on a broad range of pre-publication and contentious issues including defamation, misuse of private information, data protection, and copyright.  She has also assisted on complex contractual disputes between media companies.

She has conducted litigation for broadcasters, publishers and individuals in the County Courts and High Courts, including copyright claims assigned to the Intellectual Property List and claims proceeding in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Courts.

Vicky has provided in house training for newspapers, production companies, and broadcasters, on a range of media law issues. She has been a guest speaker on data protection for the Personal Managers’ Association (the membership organisation for talent agencies).
