James Greenslade, partner in the SMB Film and Television Team, represented Black Sheep Pictures (Lloyd Levin/Beatriz Levin/Branwen Prestwood Smith) on the development and as co-producers on the film The Mauritanian which was released in the UK earlier this month. The film is based on the memoir Guantanamo Diary and was nominated for BAFTAs and Oscars in multiple categories. It stars Jodie Foster, Tahar Rahim and Benedict Cumberbatch. Jodie Foster won the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture
