In this edition:

• The EAT hold that the withdrawal of a job offer due to an unsatisfactory reference which was unduly negative because of disability related reasons was discrimination arising from the applicant’s disability.
• The Government have published the names of 239 employers who underpaid the National Living/Minimum Wage to 22,400 workers by a total of £1.44m and confirmed that fines of an additional £1.97m have been levied.
• The Government has published the results of its survey to gather more information about the experiences of LGBT people in the UK which has highlighted the discrimination and harassment LGBT people face at work.
• Public Health England and Business in the Community have published a new domestic abuse toolkit to help raise awareness of the issue with employers and provide guidance on supporting those affected by it.
