• The EAT hold that a Claimant’s belief in “the statutory human or moral right to own the copyright and moral rights of her own creative works and output” was not a protected belief under the Equality Act 2010.

• Acas has published its 2017/18 Annual Report, which reveals that Early Conciliation notifications have increased by 19% compared to the same period the previous year and tribunal claims increased by 39%.
• A Parliamentary Committee publishes a report on older people and work which concludes that the talents of people aged over 50 are being wasted because of discrimination, bias and outdated employment practices.
