• An ET has awarded a woman £7,000 compensation for sexual harassment after two colleagues asked her if she had engaged in bawdy sexual acts while on holiday and likened a baguette she was eating to a dildo.
• An ET finds that a BECTU representative was automatically unfairly dismissed for taking part in the activities of an independent trade union after sending an email that encouraged cyber-picketing.
• CIPD research of 1400 working women between the ages of 45 and 55 shows that 59% say they are experiencing menopause symptoms which are having a negative impact on them at work.
