Simons Muirhead Burton LLP (SMB) represented the producers of the film The Intent 2 which has just been released in the UK. The film is the first film to be funded by Island Records UK and features various grime artists. A soundtrack album for the film is also being released by Island Records.
James Greenslade of SMB advised the producers in relation to the production finance and distribution agreement for the film and the soundtrack with Island Records UK and Eagle Rock as well as their personal agreements as producers, directors and writers of the film.
Changes to UK company law mean that certain individuals (including company directors) will soon be required to verify their identity with Companies House (CH).
