SMB’s Jane McDonagh, who heads our Family Team, has been made a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL). The IAFL is an association that recognises the world’s most experienced and skilled family law specialists, made up of practising lawyers from the 57 countries represented. Currently, there are 810 fellows worldwide.
Membership to the IAFL is by invitation only and is granted by the association’s members after a rigorous selection process.
Razi Mireskandari, SMB’s Managing Partner, has said:
“Jane’s enrolment into the association is a testament to her ability as family law practitioner and reflects the esteem with which she is regarded by her peers. Jane’s work with charities such as Voices in the Middle and her other philanthropic causes have established her as a practitioner who goes the extra mile to ensure positive changes are made in her field. We are extremely proud of her work.”
As a Fellow, Jane will be part of a network of the world’s highest calibre of family lawyers, able to access an international wealth of experience and shared expertise.
