Razwana Akram, Partner in our Media team, has recently been appointed as a member of Delfina Foundation‘s Strategic Advisory Panel.
“Based in the heart of London, Delfina Foundation is an independent, non-profit foundation dedicated to facilitating artistic exchange and developing creative practice through residencies, partnerships and public programming.”
Delfina was founded in 2007 with an initial focus on artistic exchange with the Middle East and North Africa. Their focus has since expanded internationally. They are currently London’s largest international residency programme and often host emerging artists and curators.
Razwana’s role on the panel will include assisting and advising on the strategic direction of the foundation and providing input on future plans and programmes.
Other members of the panel include newscaster Jon Snow, Baroness Helena Kennedy QC, co-curator of British Art Show 8, Hammad Nasar and author and senior advisor for the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, Joana Schliemann.
Razwana’s position on the committee will be effective June 25 2019.
Partners and joint heads of the Music Department, Richard Baskind and Alasdair George, were featured, alongside Anthony Orum, who was promoted to partner in May last year.
