SMB acts for Sirius Market Access Ltd in merger with Genesis Research LLC

SMB are pleased to have completed a deal acting for Sirius Market Access Limited in their merger with Genesis Research LLC. Genesis Research is a Value Demonstration Company that serves as a Functional Service Provider to the Life Sciences industry, delivering Real World Evidence services to satisfy regulatory, payer, and commercial requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Sirius Market Access Ltd is a Newcastle based firm providing market access services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and device industries, both in the UK and globally.

This deal was led by Partner Peter Weiss with Associates Jack Heywood, Lucy Newman, John Harrington, and Trainee Solicitor Olu Mshelia assisting. Senior Associate Daniel Cotton supported on the employment aspects.

With Genesis Research LLC being a US based company, the deal involved US and English law. SMB worked closely with accountancy firm Lubbock Fine and US counsel Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis LLP, colleagues from LAWorld, on this deal. It was completed on the 2nd December.
