SMB’s Media and Music teams are very pleased to have advised Make Waves Films on the production, financing and distribution of its feature documentary Blue Carbon with CNN, HHMI (Howard Hughes Medical Institute) and Conservation International. The film will be broadcast on CNN, NDR and Canal+.
The documentary is about the huge environmental and other benefits that will come from blue carbon projects, expanding mangrove and other forests on the ocean’s edge, around the world. The documentary is presented by the Grammy nominated producer and DJ, Jayda G (who also has a Master’s in marine biology) with music by her, RZA and Seu Jorge playing a large part in the story.
The SMB team was led by James Greenslade and Rachelle Senghor and SMB also co-sponsored the film’s recent premiere.
