SMB are pleased to announce that our chosen Charity of the Year 2022 is Alzheimer’s Research UK.

We are proud to be partnering with Alzheimer’s Research UK, the UK’s leading dementia research charity, dedicated to causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and cure. Backed by passionate scientists and supporters, Alzheimer’s Research UK’s vision is to see the world free from the heartbreak of dementia through four key areas of action:
We cannot wait to collaborate with Alzheimer’s Research UK to support the brilliant work they do. Our firm wide vote confirmed the partnership for 2022 and our CSR team will be arranging fundraising initiatives to get cracking and making a difference! Previously, such events have included our very own SMB Sports Day, a charity quiz night, and a 4-day bike ride from London to Amsterdam which raised over £7,000 alone.
Lucy Haines, Regional Fundraising Officer at Alzheimer’s Research UK said:
“We are delighted to be SMB’s chosen charity for 2022. We could not continue to fund pioneering research into future treatments without the backing of our fantastic supporters. We know there is great potential to make a huge success together this year and we are looking forward to getting started and working with you all.”
Razi Mireskandari, Managing Partner said:
“SMB looks forward to working with Alzheimer’s Research UK and seeing what we can achieve together.”
We will be updating our website, LinkedIn, and Twitter with details of our fundraising events and donation opportunities throughout the year. To donate to this worthy cause, you can go to our JustGiving page.
