SMB has raised over £11,500 for our 2022 Charity of the Year, Alzheimer’s Research UK

SMB is pleased and proud to have partnered with Alzheimer’s Research UK as our Charity of the Year for 2022. In representing them for the year, we have raised over £11,500, an incredible feat. We would like to thank all of the staff who participated in our fundraising events and activities over the last year. It was through the diligence and commitment of you all that we smashed our fundraising goals.

Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity, dedicated to causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and cure. Backed by passionate scientists and supporters, Alzheimer’s Research UK’s vision is to see the world free from the heartbreak of dementia through four key areas of action:

• Understand the diseases that cause dementia
• Diagnose people earlier and more accurately
• Reduce risk, backed by the latest evidence
• Treat dementia effectively.

We sincerely hope that our efforts can in some small way contribute to these goals and make a difference to those who suffer from, or know someone who suffers from, dementia.
