We are very proud to announce that as a company we have raised over £17,000 on the behalf of our 2019 Charity of the Year, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). We would like to say thank you to all the staff who participated in the fundraising events and activities this year. It was through your stellar efforts that we were able to smash our fundraising goal and raise this phenomenal amount.
Simon Gunning, CEO of CALM, has stated:
“It’s been great to have the continued support of SMB and we are honoured to have been their Charity of the Year. The partnership has allowed us to engage their staff in issues around suicide and mental health, while raising awareness of the services and support that is available for anyone who may be going through a difficult time. What’s more, the funds that the SMB staff have raised through a range of brilliant activities will contribute towards the operation of CALM’s free and anonymous helpline and web chat. Thank you to everyone involved in this brilliant partnership.”
Whilst they are no longer our Charity of the Year, our partnership is not over. We will remain a CALM accredited company and continue to support this amazing charity in the work they do.
