Charlie is an associate in the Family Team. She advises on a broad range of private family law matters, including nuptial agreements, financial remedies on divorce, separation for cohabitees, and child arrangements, for both UK-based and international clients.
By combining strong analytical skills with a personable approach, she delivers outcomes that align with each client’s emotional and financial priorities. She has advised clients on an effective division of complex asset structures further to their divorce, including overseas trusts, investment funds, property portfolios, and share incentive schemes. For her children work, she has not only advised on domestic arrangements for childcare, but also international relocations, with sensitivity and precision. Charlie also has a keen interest in surrogacy law, having led webinars on the topic with relevant thought leaders.
Her career began with helping to establish the legal team at a financial services company, before progressing to a paralegal position and completing solicitor training at a Central London law firm, where she qualified into the Family and Private Client department. She was promoted to Associate within her first 2 years of qualification.
Charlie is a member of Resolution and has been recognised as a Key Lawyer in the Legal 500 for two years in a row, one referee describing her as “hardworking and dedicated”, going on to say that “she will do very well”. She has also written for the Solicitors Journal on updates to divorce law and contributed to a piece in the Times.
