Partner and co-head SMB’s Media department, Simon Goldberg, has produced another insightful instalment of his Post Office Scandal series, following his successful LinkedIn campaign which has attracted a wide audience.
The latest instalment, ‘Who were the Directors?’, assesses one of the legal aspects of the scandal, considering the role of the Directors of the Post Office in the context and framework of their statutory duties as members of the Board.
The Birmingham County Court has today handed down judgment in favour of long standing SMB client, Mohammed Arif, a veteran Cabinet Member and former Conservative Councillor for St Matthew’s, concluding proceedings relating to his discrimination claim against officers of the former Walsall Conservative Federation (now the Walsall and Bloxwich Association).
