Simon is joint head of both the Media and Corporate, Commercial & Finance teams. He is a commercial media lawyer with specialist experience in publishing, film and television finance, production and distribution as well in media-related corporate transactions.
Simon is highly skilled in complex media, and publishing and commercial agreements and is known for his established industry experience of working with some of the UK’s leading publishers on all of their print and on-line publications and their expansion and growth internationally.
Simon is regularly ranked in Chambers and the Legal 500 and is described as “‘practical, unflappable and gives very good counsel,’ according to delighted clients”. Simon is a trustee of the Death Penalty Project and also lectures at the University of Warwick on media law.
