SMB’s Corporate, Commercial & Finance team are delighted to have advised Banijay UK on their investment into scripted drama producer, Rabbit Track Pictures. Rabbit Track was co-founded by film, TV and stage actor James Norton and scripted executive Kitty Kaletsky, and has a varied slate of high-profile projects – their first film, Rogue Agent, a thriller starring Norton, was released on Netflix in 2022.
Banijay is the largest international content producer and distributor in the world, with over 120 production companies operating in 22 territories. James Norton is a BAFTA-nominated actor and is currently appearing in a highly acclaimed London stage production of A Little Life, based on the novel by Hanya Yanagihara. Kitty Kaletsky, who is Managing Director of Rabbit Track, has worked at a senior level in both the UK and LA, including heading up the TV department at Oscar-winning Black Bear Pictures.
The SMB team was led by Partner Neal Hodges, working alongside Senior Associate Jack Heywood and Partner and Co-Head of the Employment Team Tamara Ludlow. We wish Banijay and Rabbit Track every success in their new partnership.
