Simons Muirhead Burton is delighted to announce that our talented team of legal experts have completed the arduous 24 Peaks Challenge, raising to date a whopping £16,260.
As part of its CSR efforts, an SMB team embarked on the 24 Peaks Challenge last Friday, raising vital funds for our Charity of The Year, The Motor Neurone Disease Association. We are pleased to share that our team surpassed their original goal of £10,500, totalling more than £16,000 in donations.
The strenuous hike spanned 50km across the scenic Lake District, including several well-known peaks such as Scafell Pike and Helvellyn with our team trekking for around 12 hours per day.
Speaking on the group’s efforts and surpassing the donation goal, Senior Associate and chair of SMB’s CSR Committee, John Harrington said:
“The challenge was incredibly difficult but the team was amazing and we are delighted to have raised so much money for MNDA.”
Thanks very much to all those who donated, and well done to our team for completing the challenge, we are very proud of you!
This great achievement marks the second year running in which an SMB client has won this prestigious award, with client Curious Films winning it last year.
