Our client, Bauer Media UK, the multi-platform media group with a reach of over 25 million consumers in the UK, has added Jazz FM to their portfolio of radio brands in an deal led by Simon Goldberg, SMB’s Head of Media: Business and Rights and Joint Head of Corporate, Commercial and Finance.
Bauer’s impressive portfolio of huge radio brands, including Kiss FM, Absolute Radio, and Magic, will benefit from the acquisition by reaching a wider audience for advertisers. Jazz FM currently boast 672,000 weekly listeners, many of whom come from the lucrative ABC1 demographic.
Simons Muirhead Burton LLP (SMB) advised Bauer, led by Simon Goldberg, with support from Blaise Gaymer and Jack Heywood.
