SMB advises on the sale of Robert Heath Heating to Daikin
SMB’s Corporate Team has advised the shareholders of leading gas servicing business Robert Heath Heating in its sale to Daikin Europe, the UK’s leading air source heat pump manufacturer. This acquisition, which represents Daikin’s largest investment in the UK to date, is part of a strategy to lead the UK’s transition to low-carbon heating, as it will significantly increase Daikin’s ability to service and maintain residential heat pumps.
The SMB team was led by Partner in our Corporate department, Neal Hodges and Corporate Associate, Robert Hepburn.
On the deal, Neal Hodges said: “Congratulations to all involved, and we wish the Robert Heath team and Daikin every success.”
Co- Head of the Music Department Alasdair George acted for the founder of Cooking Vinyl, Martin Goldschmidt, on the sale of the company to US-based Exceleration Music.
