Richard Baskind

Richard heads the Music team.

He is a specialist adviser on contract law and commercial negotiations in the music and wider entertainment industries with a diverse range of clients, including global recording artists, songwriters and producers, record labels, music publishers and industry executives.

Richard is ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers directories and is described as “incredibly well known for his music work” and “a practical lawyer who knows where the catches and caveats are during negotiations” and described by clients as “a lawyer you actually want to hang out with”. Richard is a trustee of the charity, CALM, and is active in supporting a number of music related projects.
