Simons Muirhead Burton has advised the shareholders of Lucid Issuer Services (“Lucid”), Lucid Agency and Trustee Services and Fluyd (the “Lucid Companies”) in their acquisition by Duff & Phelps. The Lucid Companies are Europe’s leading providers of securities solicitation and loan and bond services solutions. Duff & Phelps is a global advisor that protects, restores and maximizes value for clients in the areas of valuation, corporate finance, investigations, disputes, cyber security, compliance and regulatory matters, and other governance-related issues.
Separately, Duff & Phelps announced its purchase by a global investor consortium led by Stone Point Capital and Further Global for $4.2billion.
SMB has advised the founders of Lucid for over ten years from growth to exit.
